Co-Founder and CEO

With the vision of reinventing digital governance, and making it accessible to everyone, Bert and his twin brother Rob started the company in 2014.
Bert has 20 years of experience in banking, financial services and business development. Before launching, he held a number of senior positions at ABN AMRO Bank. 
In his last position as Senior Vice President / Head of Financial Professionals in Luxembourg, he was responsible for the Investment Fund Depositary, Corporate Clients and Independent Asset Management business lines of the bank.

Rob Boerman

Co-Founder and CTO

Rob is CTO and Co-Founder of Being specialised in data management and process automation with vast industrial knowledge, he owned and successfully ran a development company.
Rob worked as a Chief Technology Officer for 10 years at, the largest Dutch online customer satisfaction company.
Together with Bert, they opened in 2014 to help companies in their smooth transition to Digital Governance and Digital Transformation with their cutting-edge technology and their expertise in the business.

Ian Atkinson

COO (Chief Operating Officer)

Ian is our COO responsible for our clients, the successful delivery of our product and the strategic expansion of our operations. With a passion for people, change and growth, he has over 20 years experience across a range of sectors and roles. This experience includes delivering technology, business and regulatory consulting services both client-side and as a service provider. Prior to his appointment Ian set up and managed a technology-driven regulatory consulting service in Luxembourg.

Ralf Ferner

CGO (Chief Governance Officer)

Ralf has more than 25 years of experience in banking, asset management, life assurance and technology.
With a background in portfolio management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management and corporate finance, his boardroom experience includes regulator-approved mandates in Luxembourg, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the British Virgin Islands.
He has been CEO of two Luxembourg-based fund management companies, and CEO of a German-based technology start-up.

Osman is responsible for the financial organisation of the company, tax, corporate finance & fundraising, as well as Investor reporting and Human Resources. He has over 15 years of experience in Finance and Accounting and has managed organisations in varying sectors from Industry through to Automotive Engineering to Healthcare, where he held the CFO position.

Gavin Bijker-Sparks 

Process & Systems Administrator Manager

Gavin is responsible for optimising the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. 
Prior to his appointment, Gavin served as Head of Project Management within for three years. 
Before joining, Gavin worked as an Operations Manager at Digivotion and held several senior management positions with major companies in the Netherlands.

Marie joined in 2016 after graduating from a business school.
Since then, she has worked in the Client Success Team, first as an implementation manager and now as a team leader.
She carried out numerous implementations of governance for depositaries and asset managers and helps clients make the best of the platform by providing custom-made solutions to fit their needs.

Daniel joined in 2017. Since then he has managed numerous implementations for depositaries and asset managers.
In his role of Client Success Manager he guides our clients during their digitalisations projects by scoping and executing implementation plans.
Specialised in Digital Transformation implementations, his main responsibilities rely on customising and enhancing our clients digital environments to meet their needs and expectations.

Bogdan is our Solution Specialist. Prior to joining the team, Bogdan worked 8 years at Amazon in Luxembourg in multiple capacities including as Supply Chain Business Process Expert and Retail Automation Expert.

Bogdan's academic background is in Marketing and Journalism and he brings much hands-on business experience in designing and driving large scale automations.
